I’d like to introduce the new staff members in our faculty: Dr. Yosi Shamay, Dr. Firas Mawase and Dr. Limor Freifeld.
Dr. Yosi Shamay’s research interests: Drug targeting and delivery, molecular self assembly, cancer biology, tumor micro-environment, computational chemistry and clinical pharmacology.
Yosi has completed his postdoctoral in the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacology, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
Dr. Firas Mawasi’s research interests: Bioengineering technologies and assistive devices for neurologic impairments, Computational and theoretical neuroscience, Neurorehabilitation, Non-invasive brain simulation,
Human brain imaging, Neuro-engineering, Neurophysiological mechanisms underlying motor behavior, Theoretical and Translational aspects of motor control.
Firas has completed his postdoctoral at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Departments of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Neuroscience Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
Dr. Limor Freifeld’s research interests span both Biomedical Engineering and Neuroscience as well as a variety of topics such as imaging technology (particularly different types of fluorescence microscopy), signal processing,
statistical modeling, circuit neuroscience, epilepsy and the relation between the structure of cell nuclei and gene expression regulation.
Limor has completed her postdoctoral at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, MA, USA.
We wishing you a great success and a fruitful and fascinating work!
All the best,
